Being an editor for the print edition for 15 years has teach me how important headlines are.
This are the ones I recomend
Now he tells us (on Bush declaring that the war was larger and more expensive of what he thought) – The Huffington Post-
If Michael Jackson only knew (on Obama becoming the first black president in USA) – soitu.es
Ugly but giving (on Ugly Betty supporting Hillary Clinton on her debt) -eluniversal.com.mx
Recession turns around the world (on all the reports about big companies cutting off jobs) – eluniversal.com.mx
This are terrible
Russian Orthodox Patriarch Dies at 79 (so if he is important, it doesn’t show) New York Times
mostly every headline that is made of an old journalism formula, you know, like: Mexico is in crsis: the president
or Obama wins, yeah, such a notice. By the time people get to the storie there is nothing new.
I likes the one of Ugly Betty and the Huffington post, that were funny and informative.
In the others you recomend I am sure anyone would click (except for the one of the recession) but I´m not sure they are really telling you enough details to understand what they are talking about.
I agree on the quote titles, they are very much old press a like.
